Inspiring You To Live An Enchanted Life

I believe that you are never too old to have something magical and enchanting that brings a smile to your face and joy to your heart: be it a fairy garden collection, a rainbow collection, a mushroom collection, a collection of ladybugs or even a collection of farm animals to adorn your shelves, window sills, ledges and walls. It is my deepest wish that everyone be blessed to live in a place surrounded by both people and items that you love, that provide you with inspiration and provide you with nourishment for your soul.

Each of the handmade items within my shop is made with love and are time consuming to create. I am a traditional craftsperson which means all items are handcrafted and fashioned using traditional tools and methods on high quality materials. You will not find any computerized crafting machines in my workshop or studio. Rainbows  are cut out on scroll saws or table saws and any custom wood-turnings are turned on an electric lathe with hand held chisel.

Paint colours are mixed by hand using proprietary blends containing 2-7 pigments of the twelve basic certified non-toxic paint colours I keep in the studio. Painting is all done by  hand with a handheld artist brushes and dotting tools (no spray paint or airbrushing). Creations are finished with certified non-toxic weather resistant glosses allowing items to be cleaned with a damp cloth for easy cleaning. All needlework, weaving and embroidery is also done by hand.

Items shipped out to you are wrapped in brown paper and tied with string, ready for you to gift to that special someone.

{My Inspiration}
I am a cottage creatrix who creates art from the comfort of my wheelchair. Blessed to live on a farm surrounded in part by the boreal forest of Northern Alberta, my studio windows face the woods behind my home that are filled with interesting flora, fauna, and fungi.

I have a soft spot for the woodland critters that often visit me such as foxes, deer, moose, mice, squirrels, mink, fishers, and the odd bear. Blue jays, robins, sap suckers, chickadees, owls, ravens and bald eagles also make appearances at my home and in my work.

Farm animals like the free range chickens and pet rabbits we raise, my dog, the neighbours cows that graze in the field beside my home and the stray cats that come by also inspire my animal creations. My love for these adorable critters with big, wide beautiful eyes show through my work as well.

All the fore mentioned, as well as my love of and belief in the magical and mystical, help inspire my creativity.

Thank you for visiting my shop and taking the time to learn a bit more about me.

Please message me if you have any questions or have any custom theme requests.

Thanks.
Miriam.

Due to my rural location I do not accept walk-ins or pick-ups. The baby bunnies and baby chicks may attack and we definitely don't want that happening as both are so fluffy and cute right now and I'd really like to keep them that way. Thanks.
